Centennial Celebration: A Frank Sinatra Tribute

Program Highlights:

The Music of Frank Sinatra, featuring such favorites as "I've Got You Under My Skin," "Fly Me to the Moon," and "New York, New York"

Steve Lippia’s Centennial Celebration is a tribute to the life and music of the twentieth century’s most remarkable singer of the Great American Songbook, Frank Sinatra - a star of radio, television, movies and countless live performances throughout the world. Steve Lippia takes the audience on a musical journey from Sinatra’s earliest crooning days with Harry James and Tommy Dorsey to his historic collaborations with great arrangers like Billy May, Nelson Riddle and Don Costa, to his work with the Count Basie Orchestra at the Sands in Las Vegas and his epic concert at Madison Square Garden.

Stripped of the well-reported drama of his life, his marriage to Ava Gardner, his swagger…beneath all of this was “The Voice.” Steve Lippia has perhaps the most naturally similar voice to that of Sinatra’s. Moreover, he sings the music authentically, with a deep understanding of the genre. This is why some of Sinatra’s closest associates got behind Steve when his career broke open on the national scene in Las Vegas.

Accompanied by the Kenosha Symphony Orchestra as you've never seen them before, this amazing new show tells the story of a once-in-a-century artist.
